Good anchorage on a sand bottom can be found southwest of the breakwater, in a depth of 40-50 feet. The Alert Bay Boat Harbour is sheltered by a rock breakwater, and has a total berthage of 3,487 feet. A garbage drop, power and excellent drinking water are available at the dock. Marine fuel is available daily. Free dock-side delivery of groceries is provided by local stores.


The Harbour is walking distance to the centre of town. Laundry facilities are close by, and it's a ten-minute walk to the liquor store, grocery stores and Post Office.

Marine charts are available at the Shop Rite Department Store; Alert Bay Electronics is a fifteen-minute walk from the boat harbour.

Shower facilities are available at the campgrounds, which is a fifteen-minute walk up the hill from the boat harbour.

$0.10/foot + $1 surcharge

Pleasure Craft -
$0.50/foot + $1 surcharge

20 AMP power service $5

Monthly

$0.80/foot + $15 surcharge

$3.00/foot + $15 surcharge

Government Wharf moorage rates are identical to the Boat Harbour moorage rates
